Vinodh Soundarajan Chief Technology Officer at Somnoware Healthcare Systems Inc
Mr. Vinodh Soundarajan is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Somnoware Healthcare, a leader in Sleep and Pulmonary Healthcare and Care Management based out of Bay Area, CA. He is also the CoFounder and Head of Technology at Futureshift Consulting Pte Ltd and is located in Bangalore, India. He is a knowledge leader in Technology Engineering Management and is an entrepreneur at heart. He has over 22 yrs of experience in leadership roles in global software Engineering and R&D based out of USA, UAE and India. He has rich experience in building and leading IT teams across the world.
Prior to Somnoware and Futureshift, he headed engineering and platform development at Mercator (erstwhile IT division of Emirates Airlines), a Warburg Pincus Company based out of Dubai. At Mercator, Vinodh was responsible for all Software Engineering across Cargo, Passenger, Loyalty and Revenue Management areas of Airline Operations. Prior to that he was the Vice President of Platform Engineering at 24/7 Ilabs, Bangalore, India.
He headed Development and QA of technology solutions in Customer Service domain driving top-line outcomes of Fortune 100 companies. 24/7’s outcome-based model is structured to meet the metrics that matter most to client — incremental conversions and revenue, reduced customer effort and elevated customer satisfaction. Prior to that, he was the Global Vice President and Member of Executive Management Staff and responsible for strategy and leadership at SumTotal Systems, Bellevue, WA, a provider of Talent Development solutions. In this role he managed global R&D and Engineering for SumTotal Systems. He had also co-founded and successfully exited Colorsutra Retail Private Limited, a niche online source of contemporary Indian apparel.
Vinodh was earlier the Director of Product Development at JDA, a leader in Supply Chain and Retail solutions. He was instrumental in setting up JDA India and lead Logistics, Demand, Pricing and Optimization Engineering teams. He is a guest speaker in the areas of Supply Chain, Entrepreneurship and Global Business Leadership at XLRI and other institutions. He has a Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering from NIT Warangal, a Master’s in Computer Science from University of Mississippi and an MBA from Penn State University.
