Vivek Dahiya is a leading authority on Indian real estate. He has advised Indian and multinational firms, institutional investors, developers, retailers and government bodies on framing their real estate strategies across India.
He has almost 20 years of real estate research, consulting, valuation, and transactions experience. Vivek has both, set up and lead teams of skilled and motivated professionals who are now industry leaders.
Vivek started his career with JLL as one of the earliest members of its Consulting and Valuation team in India and Singapore. Here he worked on several pioneering projects across all key cities in South Asia. He then transitioned to the tenant representation team of JLL advising his clients in acquisitions of office spaces across India. Thereafter he founded the Delhi office of DTZ in India. Here he managed the entire agency/ transactions business in West and North India. He also led the business development efforts across the country for corporate, retail, industrial, land and warehousing assignments.
In both JLL and DTZ, Vivek concluded office acquisitions assignments for his clients, which then, were the largest leasing transactions of Delhi NCR. He brings the unique experience of having advised across multiple asset classes in all key markets of India.

Recent experience/ Key achievements
* He has successfully advised numerous Indian / overseas corporate clients, such as Microsoft, Cisco, CA, Bank of America, CSC, HSBC, and Bharti Airtel, on their acquisition and investment strategies in South Asia.
* He secured national accounts such as Google, BT, Barclays, Sapient, SAP Labs, Aviva and personally advised on some of the most landmark corporate real estate acquisitions such as the India head-office of RBS.
* In his previous role, Vivek lead his entrepreneurial venture in Genreal concluding assignments which set benchmarks for the industry. These are: (1) India's first and only sale-and-lease-back transaction of a commercial asset (2) Capital market transactions of over $ 500 mn (3) First-of-its-kind private equity co-investment in a residential project (4) Acquisition and disposition of a township.
